Pink Horizon draws together in one exhibition two main vehicles of Traci Kelly’s practice—an investigation of the cultural and material signification of skin and skinning and “liveness” in relation to the landscape and temporality. The work will also probe a research concern—“the skin of sculpture,” and how sculpture may redefine and defy its own borders. This will be approached through varied uses of light and shadow and integrate the architectural space to form extended aspects.
